I am currently accepting new clients!
Hey there, I hope you are finding your way through the internet search terrain to myself or another therapist that will be just right for you!
I absolutely love what I do; it is such a privilege to walk alongside people as they find a deeper connection to themselves and what most matters to them. I have ten years of experience across the mental health, education, health care and research sectors and have been in private practice, living out my dream as a creative, social-justice-oriented, and holistic therapist since May 2024. I am passionate about the shift from unconsciously complying with the world's demands to becoming the most authentically ourselves we can be.
Working with me may include connecting to bodily ways of knowing, self-expression, discovering parts of the self that might be in conflict, and accessing previously unexplored internal resources. The resulting reconnection to courage and creativity restores the capacity to make changes in our world that we are called to make.
When we come home to ourselves, we are able to come into connection with others in a more authentic way. I would be honoured to provide a free 15-minute consultation to see if working with me feels like a great fit for you.
I am a certified Expressive Arts Facilitator specializing in playful, creative approaches to therapy with adults (why should kids get to have all the fun!?) I'm in the process of completing EMDR Basic Training for the treatment of trauma. I am certified in Clinical Hypnosis and comfortable with the use of DNRS for treating somatic illness.
“When I am not working, I spend a lot of time with Makhabn or Ijathibe Wapta, also known as the Bow River, listening and learning.”
SOME OF MY TRAININGS:
“I like to take many trainings that have very different understandings about both where challenges come from, and how to heal - this allows me to be flexible enough in my approach to work with you as a unique person, guiding us both to learn the language and modalities that feel most inviting and accessible to you.”
